LABEL/YEAR : Atco 1975

DESCRIPTION : Funk Factory is right. This was a project led by forward-thinking violinist Michal Urbaniak, and it's fonky as hell. Some tracks, like "Next Please," have some fusion flourishes, but for the most part the grooves are thick. Nearly all the tracks kick ass, but the breakheads are gonna wanna check out "Rien Ne Va Plus," as it was jacked by the Beastie Boys for "Car Thief." This is essential, don't sleep.
