Description
THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE LP BY LOVE ENTITLED "FOREVER CHANGES" RELEASED ON ELEKTRA RECORDS IN THE UK IN 1967 CAT NO EKL 4013. THIS IS A SUPERB RARE FIRST PRESS IN MONO WITH MATRIX NUMBERS OF A1 AND B1 AND THE FIRST 1 AND 1 MOTHER STAMPERS .
THE VINYL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A NICE SHEEN. THERE ARE A FEW VERY LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS BUT THESE HAVE NO IMPACT ON THE AUDIO. THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL IS REFLECTED IN THE AUDIO. I HAVE LISTENED TO THE WHOLE LP AT GREAT VOLUME AND OVERALL IT WAS A VERY NICE LISTEN. THE LP PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT SKIPS OR JUMPS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE , WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY MORE PREVALENT BETWEEN TRACKS AND IN THE QUIETER SECTIONS, BUT I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS EXCELLENT, ESPECIALLY AS THE RECORD IS 44 YEARS OLD.
THE LABELS, WHICH ARE TEXTURED ON THE INSIDE, ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION IF NOT BETTER.
THE ORIGINAL LAMINATED BOTH SIDES SLEEVE IS IN A STRONG EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE ARE A FEW VERY LIGHT CREASES TO THE LAMINATE BUT FOR A SLEEVE THAT IS 44 YEARS OLD IT IS IN AT LEAST EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE PINCHED SPINE IS IN SUPERB CONDITION AND CLEARLY READABLE.
OVERALL A SUPERB COPY OF THIS VERY RARE LP.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
