Louis Armstrong April 26, 1947 acetate
This week we are offering a large selection of original blues and jazz acetate recordings from the 1950s, plus a few other test pressing that didn't make the last list, all from a private collection.
Created by a sound engineer in NYC, who transferred them from 78s to the acetates.
Most come in plain brown sleeve and plain brown outer covering with songs noted either on the outer cover or on an insert sheet taped to sleeve. Some of the song inserts have become loose or lost.
All are near mint
The acetates will be followed by a great listing of jazz records from another collection, so stay tuned.
