• Vinyl: VG++  play grade  *vinyl still has a nice shiny luster and very few visual blems; record plays clean and excellent except for a single light pop/tick heard on "I've Always Got You On My Mind" track  and a single light tick on "I Don't Want To Be Seen With You" track.
• Cover: VG+  *nice jacket with all seams intact; light overall wear on couple corners, top/bottom front and several light bend creases   
• Info: Louie & the Lovers' Rise is a legendary album, at least among hardcore record collectors. It's the kind of record that is heard of more than heard -- the kind of record rumored about in collectors' circles.  Rise gathered such attention for a few reasons. First of all, it was genuinely rare, released briefly on Epic Records in 1970 but received little attention and sold only a handful of copies. Second, the album was produced by Texas cult hero Doug Sahm, whose dedicated following collects anything he recorded. Third, the band simply has a great story: they were a teenage Mexican-American garage band, inspired greatly by Creedence Clearwater Revival and to a lesser extent the Byrds, who were still in high school and playing sets of all-original material when they gained the attention of Sahm and Epic, leading to this one album. Finally, the music is really, really good, a fresh and unpredictable blend of Byrdsian jangle and psychedelia, CCR-styled choogling boogie, Texas blues, Mexican tradition, old-fashioned teen-beat rock & roll, and a sense of popcraft learned from the Beatles. • All records packaged in new custom record boxes. Records are sleeved, removed from jacket to prevent any seam splitting, and then shipped inside a poly album sleeve (unless a sealed record album or box set). Double albums are packaged the same with the second LP put between the gatefold jacket.
• Shipping discount is available when buying more than one item. Request a quote prior to purchase, or purchase multiple items and wait for an invoice with combined items shipping charge.

International Shipping:

• If sales transaction total is over $50 I will not be able to ship First Class Mail International since there is no insurance or tracking information available. You must then select either Priority or Express Mail  International as shipping option, unless prior approval to ship First Class is received.
• Import duties, taxes and charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Merchandise will not be marked below value or as a "gift".

Payment:

• Payment is expected within 7 days and if no communication after 10 days an unpaid item dispute will be filed.
