LOS YORK’S

“67”

WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!! MEGARARE original MAG Records very first STEREO press released in Perú in 1967, catalog number LPN-2257, and matrix numbers: Stereo MG-210-VC in Side 1 and MG-211-VC in Side 2, with RARE alternative purple/silver label!!! Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!! And see the picture, this record is in superb condition!!! And remember we are very conservatives for grading our records…

“67” is the debut album of LOS YORK’S, one of the legendary Peruvian rock bands, in the also legendary MAG label. It’s one of the rarest records of Perú and it’s listed in Pokora’s book (see the picture). Here it’s a copy in superb condition with the RARE alternative purple label with silver text. All songs are sung in Spanish with interesting covers of “The letter” and “Hanky Panky”. Tracklist in back cover and labels are in Spanish with credits and informing the style of the song: “Go-Gó”, for all songs, and this copy has an error: in Side B the song “Hanky Panky” was written in back cover “HUNKI PANKY” and in label “HUNKI PANKI”. Cover is made of a thin cardboard folded in one side, so the other 2 sides are open and kept together for an outer plastic bag, with front and back covers pressed in paper which’s glued to the thin cardboard.

Yes, yes, yes… Here it’s another REAL FIND, another rarity from South America!!! How many times have you seen this record in eBay before? Purple/silver MAG label is even rarer than black label and here you have the chance to get one of the most interesting rock albums from South America. Remember this record is listed in Pokora’s book!!! And let me tell you, it’s absolutely the best copy you will find in a long long long time, if you lucky enough to see another copy again…

The cover was already described and it’s in EX or EX+ condition, clean, no missing parts, no rips, no ring marks, only very very minimal wear in the mouth side. The record is in superb EX+ or NM- condition, glossy, clean, no scratches, only very light hairlines and some scuffs hard to see which don’t affect play. Labels on both sides are in NM- condition, absolutely clean and clear. The sound is the best part because it’s really fabulous, it’s in EX+- or NM- condition, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only some very very very soft pops here and there, so hard to hear that you couldn’t even notice them. Overall a great record with a fabulous look and sound quality still incredible nice, almost perfect, after more than 40 years. Amazing copy!!! And remember it’s the purple/silver MAG label!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I can declare the record as gift if you want.

If you have some doubt or question contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
