1973 CHILE EMI Odeon LDC-36809 label

The condition of the cover is a nice VG+ (see photos).  The condition of the disc is about G+ with considerable scuffs and scratches.  Plays through with some surface and pops but no skips.  Still quite listenable to my ears.

  • Los Amigos de María was one of the best hard rock bands of Chile, South America. They were formed in the second half of the 60's and under the name Los Diferentes. They also become a backing band for others under the name Grupo Resurrección and Los Amigos de María finally released an LP simply entitled "Rock" in 1973 which became one of the compulsory items for Chilean rock collectors thanks to the long original 10 minutes psych Zeppelin-styled masterpiece "Vuelve a comenzar". Just for this first song the album is completely worth the score... Well, the myth says EMI released this album in 1973 but it was really recorded in 1968. Everybody should know what a real hard rock band from Chile did in the golden years of the sixties.
