Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Socrates were a very talented progressive hard rock group from Greece . "On The Wings" was the band's third, and best maybe best album (first 3 are recommended). Socrates had some biting guitar tones, and cool songs, but the star here is drummer Tradalidis. The guy is a wealth of finessed breaks to die for. Weird off-kilter rhythms and rhythms collide with gut-punching rock riffs to form a solid album. Influenced by heavy blues and rock bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream, the band melded the unorthodox time signatures and dimensions of progressive rock coupled with the intensity of blues and hard rock music, creating a unique sound that distinguished them as a world class heavy psych band. One who did not lose their blues roots, as evidenced by such tracks as "This Is The Rats".... The result? A unique sound and addictive. On The Wings is highly recommended...

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: The fragile dark cover is so hard to find clean being wear prone. This copy rated VG++ just off excellent if only because of the slight handling wear to the ultra-fragile cover at seams, the front and back panels are quite clean otherwise ... very hard to find and beats trying to find the $500 valued first issue - sounding all the same .... a collection keeper here -- has strong original colors, no split seams, no writing, no delete marks
