Very Rare US Live LP from THE YARDBIRDS - LIVE YARDBIRDS FEATURING JIMMY PAGE - on Epic Records from 1972. (#E 30615). This was a Live album that was recorded that was one of the last shows before the band broke up and Jimmy Page formed LED ZEPPELIN out of the ashes. Page hated it and filed an injunction to have it pulled from the market so not many were sold, etc. Features 9 songs including "Train Kept A Rollin", "You're A Better Man Than I", "I'm Confused", "My Baby", "Over, Under Sideways Down", "Shape Of Things", "White Summer" and others. Page is in fine form and has already developed the overdriven, metallic riffing he displayed on early Zeppelin stuff. Two songs - "I'm Confused" (Later to become "Dazed and Confused") and "White Summer" became Zeppelin staples as well. Very cool look at a guitar great finding his style. Cover has surface wear and edge wear and splitting to the top and bottom edges of sleeve. Vinyl is in nice shape with just a couple light surface marks here and there from sliding in and out and being played a few times. Plays great! I'm not sure if this is a promo or a bootleg copy as the cover is black and white (the other ones i've seen and the one I had was in color) and the vinyl label is white rather than yellow. No promo markings, indications, etc. on it anywhere. Very tough one to find! Shipping is $3 for first class or $6 for priority airmail in the US, $8 for first class or $18 for priority in Canada and $13 for first class or $26 for priority airmail overseas.
