LIVE RUSH AND BLACK SABBATH ON THE ABC RADIO NETWORKS PROGRAM!

UP FOR AUCTION IS AN ORIGINAL VINYL RECORDING OF THE ABC ROCK RADIO NETWORKS "SUPERGROUPS" RADIO PROGRAM. THE ORIGINAL BROADCAST DATE OF THIS TWO HOUR PROGRAM TOOK PLACE ON OCT. 8, 1983. THIS VINYL RECORD IS THE ACTUAL RADIO PROGRAM, AND INCLUDES ANNOUNCER INTRODUCTIONS AND COMMERCIAL  ANNOUNCEMENTS.  (NOTE: ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMMERCIALS OCCUR AT THE BEGINNING AND/OR THE END OF EACH ALBUM SIDE, AND CAN BE EASILY SKIPPED.) THE PROMO SHEET, WHICH CONTAINS THE SONG LISTINGS, AND THE CUE SHEET ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS AUCTION.

THE PROGRAM ACTUALLY CONSISTS OF TWO SEPARATE CONCERTS. THE RUSH CONCERT WAS PERFORMED IN MONTREAL IN FRONT OF A HOME TOWN AUDIENCE. THE BLACK SABBATH CONCERT LOCATION IS NOT GIVEN, BUT WAS TAKEN DURING THEIR "BLACK & BLUE" TOUR.  GRADING: primarily grade my records visually, based on the Goldsmith rating system of Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, Good, and Poor. Questionable marks and scratches are usually tested on a turntable and noted in the listing. I try to err on the conservative side in my grading; but since it is not an exact science, there are bound to be differing opinions as to what constitutes a certain grade. Suffice it to say that I strive to be as honest as possible in my listings, as I plan on selling records, etc. for the long haul and I am not interested in ripping anyone off. That being said, I would add that the time for questions is DURING the auction, not after. I will be happy to respond to any email as soon as possible.

GOLDMINE GRADING
MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
