Description
LITTLE JOHN Have Got Work To Do orig. Jamaican Black Roots 7"
// To Do
Prod. by Peter Thompson
Black Roots DSR 7292/3, ca. -83; -/M-
Made in Jamaica; 2 tracks on 7 inch vinyl in plain bag
Excellent sound quality w/ slightest Jamaican crackling.
This grading is relative and can only be compared to other Jamaican pressings.
UNFORTUNATELY I CAN NOT PROVIDE SOUND CLIPS.
If You win many bids, Your total P&P shall naturally be reduced to actual cost.
I recommend Registering as it is the only way to get receipt + tracking number
from Finnish Post. It will add GBP 2.95 to ALL destinations - just inform me = ))
(This applies to one 7"; for other packets I'll let You know the cost of Registering.)
A serious note: This is an original item, not a recent or even 90's reissue!
As nearly all my reggae 7-inchers, I bought this around turn of 70s/80s; some
were new(!), some 2nd hand, but all these pressings are ca. 30 years old - or more.
And, although I have kept them well, the vinyl quality is sometimes cra??y and
in Jamaican pressings, more often than not the groove is slightly off-centre.
Scuffs are too common to be worth mentioning. Please keep these in mind!
PLEASE see if You find some other interesting items from my other reggae/ska vinyls,
promotional and other rare cds and cd-singles!
Sleeve / record grading
Note: All grading is done by eye (jacket first), with more than 30 years of experience. I have tried to be VERY strict to avoid nasty surprises. (Standard jewel cases NOT graded.) Your money back, if my grading is false! I hate deceitfully upgrading sellers, too!
Ringwear, adhesive tape, price tags or their remains, pen markings et al are separately noted.
Sealed = Not opened. The shrink wrap or other seal may be slightly torn but clearly the record has never been taken out of its cover.
M (Mint) = Perfect, looks like never been played - but of course You can never be absolutely sure.
M- = Near mint, has been to a Good Owner, who played it very carefully and probably not many times.
EX+ (Excellent +) = Has been to a Good Owner or two, who played it carefully and handled it as well as You or I but there are minor signs of use.
May have remains of price tag glue.
EX = A record that is clearly a used one but should satisfy most collectors. Possibly light scratches. Sleeve corners or edges may be slightly worn, but no seams are split. May have remains of price tag glue; all these are explained.
I don't sell records in condition worse than EX, unless they belong to an interesting collection.
If a compact disc looks suspicious, I'll play it and if does not cooperate, I won't even try to sell it!
I have used this grading successfully in Finland and I apologize, if it differs substantially from gradings You are more familiar with.
P&P applies to Economy Mail to all destinations; if You want to "upgrade" it to Priority, please contact me!
Thanks and good luck!
