The item available here is an original EXCELLENT CONDITION RARE UK PRESSING 7" VINYL SINGLE  of VICKY (LEANDROS) and "SUNSHINE BOY".  This was Vicky's second release in the UK back in 1967, and was the follow up single to her 1967 Eurovision entry for Luxembourg "COLOURS OF LOVE" ("LOVE IS BLUE").  You can listen to "SUNSHINE BOY" at the top of the page!  The other side features another track by Vicky, "TELL ME" and there is an audio clip of this track further down below.  This 7" single was issued in the UK by the PHILIPS record label  (BF 1599 - 346 073 BF).  The vinyl is clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition with only minimal signs of previous use but there is some spindle wear if you look closely at the record centre!  The picture sleeve is a high quality professional looking glossy hard card reprint with images taken from a rare European pressing but has been redesigned and given an alternative colour scheme along with English titles and the UK catalogue number added.  This is not a typical basic photocopy sleeve, it is a unique professional looking one-off PHOTO QUALITY picture sleeve issued especially for this rare 7" I have on auction.  Each side of the record labels and picture sleeve can be seen both above and below in the camera photos !  This is a good opportunity to add a highly collectable original rare UK pressing 7" by one of the most popular Eurovision winners with a top quality and unique picture sleeve to your record collection!  The exact items I have on auction can be seen on the camera photos both above and below!

Back in the eighties and nineties I was quite well known among many Eurovision collectors around the world as I always stocked a large selection of Eurovision records and CD's and during the nineties even arranged and financed the official release to press some of the more rare entries for wider availability to collectors.  I provided a Discography and photos of all Eurovision releases in the UK for RECORD COLLECTOR magazine and provided recordings and worked to get clearance for tracks on an official UK Eurovision CD release issued by VIRGIN.  Due to moving house my Eurovision vinyl has been in safe storage for almost a decade.  I have recently acquired back the very last copies of my Eurovision vinyl stocks.  In many cases I am down to my very last copy of each entry, especially those in mint condition and I now plan to sell everything over the upcoming months, so keep checking back each week for new additions to my listings.
