Considered Link Wray's rarest LP, this 1969 release was put out on Link and brother Vernon's home grown Record Factory label. It had a very limited pressing, and was sold mainly in the D.C.-Baltimore Mid-Atlantic area. Side-1 contains most of Links' late 50"s early 60"s Swan singles, while side-2 contains later 60's recordings done at the "Chicken Coop" studio in Accokeek MD. An interesting side-bar: Up into the 1970's, near the intersection of MD Highway Rt.5 and US Highway 301, there was a sign for RAYS' TRANSMISSION", which was the family business. Don't know if it's still there or not. Saw Link play many times in D.C. back in the early 60's. Anyway, the record is in VG condition with a few light hairlines. It has some inner sleeve/handling rubbing, and needs a light cleaning which would make it VG+. Labels and spindle holes-VG+. comes in white inner sleeve. Cover is VG+ with some light ring-wear front, a little heavier back. Top and bottom edges have some moderate scuffing, while the spine is VG+. There are no rips,tears,cuts,holes,splits,writing,etc. A very nice copy of a very rare record.
