LIGHTNIN" SLIM, (OTIS V. HICKS), FIRST AND GREATEST LP
hello, here is a rare album for auction, Im going to assume anyone looking at this ad knows how great lightnin" slims early recordings are, check out his "feature records" label recordings on 45 and 78 from around 1954 if you can find them,great stuff.
anyway, by the time jay miller his producer took him to excello in 1959 he had really perfected his style of sound and had added lazy lesters harmonica backing, "play your harmonica,son !"

condition of cover: = good (has a water stain on front, front also shows abrasion wear)
condition of record: = very good (I want to say vg+ but people are so strict about grading, I will say this, the vinyl is still shiny,there is no graying in the grooves, its had low play on a good turntable with a good "shure" cartridge, plays fine with great high fidelity, HAS NORMAL POPS AND CLICKS BETWEEN THE SONGS, TESTED WITH TREBLE SET TO MAX, record has not been cleaned, will leave that to the buyer, no skips at all, enlarge the photos and see for yourself )
Ive been the only owner of this record since 1978, it was 18 years old when I bought it at a used records store.
