Description
This is the ORIGINAL Joy Division Sordide Sentimental 7" - Atmosphere/Dead Souls (Licht und Blindheit) - with black and silver label. Catalogue number SS33022. Issue number 585 0f 1578.
Both vinyl and fold-out sleeve are in EXCELLENT condition as per Record Collector grading, and it comes with both paper inserts. The record has been played six times at most and has virtually no surface blemishes apart from slight finger-printing. The sleeve is only slightly creased. The glue on the cellophane pouch has turned brown and the pouch is beginning to peel away, as one would expect in a record of this age. The two paper inserts are in virtually mint condition.
I bought this record from Small Wonder in Walthamstow, London, on Good Friday 1980 and later that evening saw Joy Division supporting the Stranglers at the Rainbow Ballroom. I have kept it in virtually pristine condition for nearly thirty years, and I am only now selling with sadness because of debts.

Note: The orange tinge to the pictures is solely a result of the camera I used. The actual sleeve is not yellowed at all.
