Up for your consideration is this original undated copy of "Negro Blues And Hollers" from the Archive of Folk Song and edited by Marshall W. Stearns. This was issued by The Library of Congress Music Division Recording Laboratory as AFS L59. The record was pressed in red vinyl. Included is a 17 page pamphlet of lyrics and historical notes on the material. This was a very limited issue recording. I doubt you can find any of these cuts anywhere else. A must for any serious blues collection!
The vinyl is visually graded a strong VG , but does show one short, light scuff. The labels are clean with only a hint of light spindle marks. The cover is a VG with a little light shelf scuff and minor discoloration due to ageing. There is a short seam split on the top of the spine as well as a full length split on the bottom. Some corner bumping is also present. The inner sleeve is generic and thought to be original. Overall, a pretty nice example of a really rare LP. I tend to grade conservatively. you won't be disappointed.
So, if this rather scarce original issue red vinyl LP will fill a gap in that blues record collection of yours, why not toss in a bid? Who knows when (or if) another copy will surface? Offered at a fair open and NO RESERVE!!

All LP's are cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, inserted into new anti static sleeves and then into new 3 mil outer sleeves prior to shipping. I ship only in new designated record shipping cartons with reinforced inserts.
I try to describe items as honestly and accurately as possible. I encourage questions, but please ask them prior to bidding. It will help avoid confusion.
California buyers will be charged 7.75% sales tax unless a signed California resale card is provided prior to shipping. Just a number won't due.
I charge only actual shipping costs plus a small "handling fee". Ebay has a gag order on us about discussing insurance, so this covers insurance, delivery confirmation and the extra shipping costs recently imposed on sellers. Sorry!
