Description
This is a copy of the outstanding Stones killer 1969 album ‘Let it bleed’. It is extremely sought after in that it is mono with a red unboxed Decca label. I have tried to include detailed photos to give a true impression of the record.
The matrices are: XARL – 9363 P 2A XARL – 9363 P 1A. This would seem to suggest that it is an early pressing, although I am not an expert in that area.
The cover has the original ‘Full Color ROLLING STONES POSTER included’ on the bottom left hand side. Unfortunately the poster is not there. The sleeve has some creasing and has picked up dirt on the back - I would grade it as ‘Very Good+’.
The record comes with the original red Decca inner sleeve; noticeable for the fact that full details of the album tracks and line-ups are printed on one side. The inner sleeve is fairly creased and I would grade it as ‘Very Good +’.
It says at the bottom of the inner sleeve. THIS RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD. I would heartily agree!
The record has been played a lot and has a good amount of spindle wear. The vinyl itself has a lot of hair line marks but no real feel-able scratches. When you play it there is background light crackle a lot of the time. However this does not detract from the enjoyment of the album, apart from the much quieter passages. I would grade the record as ‘Very Good +’ overall.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc + or - indicates a grading in between categories
