My Graduation :
Mint: Brand new condition, cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Sealed or unplayed.
Excellent: Some signs of having been played, but very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: Obviously played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks or occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover and extra items, without major defects.
Good: Played so much that sound quality has noticeably deteriorated. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair: Still just playable, considerable surface noise, may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor: Record will not play properly due to scratches, surface noice etc. Cover and contents badly damaged or partly missing.
(graduations between gradings such as VG+ or EX- will be used to add more detail)
