GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA
Note : il bravo cantante di Arbus interpreta la versione in Italiano dell'omonima canzone composta ed originalmente eseguita dal gruppo statunitense " The Young Rascals ". Canzone bella e suggestiva dalle atmosfere rilassanti sottolineate anche dalle note dell'armonica. La matrice fondamentale è soul ma sono ben avvertibili venature pop-beat : un cocktail musicale sicuramente ben riuscito. Non a un caso venne ripresa anche da Petula Clark, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Marvin Gaye e tanti altri ancora. Sul secondo lato un'altra bella interpretazione di Leo Sardo. " Il Re della Speranza " è un buon rhythm & blues "made in Italy" dall'andamento vivace e con un testo allegro. Con questo brano Sardo partecipò al Festival delle Rose 1967 in abbinamento a Paolo Bracci e Armando Savini.
