Description

LEO KOTTKE

12 String Blues

Back by popular demand with a lower price!  This is the last time I will offer this mega-rare LP, then it goes back on my shelf, as I do enjoy listening to it.   There were several of you watching this last time, so whoever gets it 1st, that's it!  I have only one copy.

1969 original LP pressing by fingerpicking guitar great LEO KOTTKE titled "12 String Blues", mostly recorded LIVE at The Scholar Coffehouse, Minneapolis, Minnesota, probably in 1968 or 1969 (NO exact date of recording is stated). Whereas later LPs by Kottke were mostly all instrumental, this early LIVE recordinghas lots of singing. A real masterpiece of Americana.

Cover VG+, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings of any kind. However, since this is an extremely rare LP (only 1,000 copies were ever made), wear on corners and edges, yellowing and some small stains here and there. The artwork on the front cover is really unique! This is the very first release by Leo Kottke!
Vinyl VG+, several light scratches & scuffs, and some background noise (clicks & pops, etc.) in places, but nothing that overpowers the songs which are a real treat. Leo's playing is "off the charts"! The labels look awful on my scanner (which usually can't take hot pinks, bright reds, oranges, etc), but in real life the labels look great and have NO writing, NO tears, NO name labels, etc.
