Description

This might be one of the rarest and hard to find electronic music LP's. I bought it new from the guys at Serge Synthesizers (Doug and Alex) in April of 1977. At that time I was involved in the LA Electronic Scene - and trying to meet everyone I could. These guys had a great set-up.....Serge Synthesizers was in a house. They called the place the Los Angeles Center for the Electronic Arts. LEM stands for Live Electronic Music. Anyway, the Vinyl LP is in MINT condition...and the cover Mint-Minus...some of the black had rubbed off the top and bottom of the front cover from storage. There are no nicks or dings.

I love Funk albums that capture many Moog synth sounds and spin it in a Jazz sounding compilation. This lp doesnt disapoint. Titled "Machines". Alex Cima and Bryce Robbley composed the music. The record was a private release on Wavefront Records (the only release on this label). The machines were various electronic music making devices: synthesizers, vocoders, Syndrums, arpeggiators. Great stuff from this duo filled with talent! Great vintage sound!
