Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Please Please Me' 1963 fourth press STEREO vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is the fourth STEREO pressing of Please Please Me, released in 1963, with the more familiar Yellow Parlophone logo on both labels. Stereo copies are a lot rarer than mono pressings as the demand for stereo records in 1963 was EXTREMELY low! Most people didn't have equipment that could play stereo records and those that did had to specially order stereo copies through their local record dealer! Even record shop owners said that 'stereo would never catch on'. A fantastic bit of history here with a rare Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve! VERY RARE, DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS ON BOTH SIDES!!
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are some light hairline scratches but nothing that is deep or feelable! Has a wonderful gloss and shine. Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is EXCELLENT-. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light, non-feelable scratches.
Audio: I have played this record in it's entirety and grade it is as EXCELLENT+! I can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system! There is some light crackle on the run-in but once the audio starts, you realise just how good this record is! Punchy, warm 60s sound with crisp highs and incredible clarity for a record that is 54 years old! Genuinely shocked as to how well this record sounds - you won't be disappointed!
Sleeve: The original 1963 LARGE STEREO Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is currently rated as a strong VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine with some extremely light ringwear that can only be seen when held up to the light. It also has some light laminate creasing towards the edges. The rear of the sleeve is discoloured due to age but there is no writing or any nasty marks! Flipbacks are held down tightly and have some light creasing. The spine is readable with some small creases - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!! No splits, rips or tears!
