Description
Time for another SUPER RARE UK VERTIGO from 1970. This record is almost becoming extinct, certainly in this sort of MINT barely played archive condition. I cannot see any spindle marks and the record surfaces are absolutely PRISTINE without any fault at all. Only under INTENSE light can you see the odd withdrawal trace, barely any though. Absolutely superb. A genuine very first UK Spiral pressing, record 6360 019 with small machine punched matrices 1Y//3 (upside down triangle 420) and 2Y//4 ( again upside down triangle 420) and number 1 stamper codes. This is the very EARLIEST ever UK pressing. The A side has the full swirl label and the B side has the large swirl logo extending to the spindle hole. Produced by Tony Visconti for David Knights Productions. The unlaminated gatefold cover with the flaming red boot over a lightish blue background is in EX to EX+ condition without any real fault at all with a fine spine etc and has the usual boxed VO PRICE CODE logo on the back. Printed and made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. As a Swirl Vertigo it comes of course complete with the original Spiral inner anti static bag. A Near Mint, barely played at all copy of a really rare UK Swirly. Get it now before it really does become extinct forever!
