Description

HOWARD RUMSEY'S LIGHTHOUSE ALL STARS DOUBLE OR NOTHIN'  LP LIBERTY RECORDS STEREO  LST 7014  * * * This rare record from 1957 unleashed LEE MORGAN onto the Jazz scene!  An East meets West "musical confrontation" hosted by Charlie Persip's Jazz Statesmen, featuring Benny Golson and Wynton Kelly. Also with Wilfred Middlebrook, Dick Shreve, Frank Rosolino, Stan Levey, Bob Cooper, Conte Candoli, and Red Mitchell!   Even among an all star cast, Lee Morgan's incomparable performance truly shines on this legendary and historical record.   * * * VINYL:NM! (Lustrous and pristine vinyl shows no significant flaws! The presence of one or two VERY SLIGHT sleeve scuffs do not affect the overall condition of this immaculate disc.) LABELS: NM (Beautiful black and silver DEEP GROOVE liberty labels show no signs of wear - flawless!) COVER:VG+ (Jacket has stayed in excellent condition over the years, although some minor imperfections are present. There is a partial seam split of about five inches at the top opening. Some light ring/general wear is present on front and back cover, but not unsightly. ALl corners firm, w/ only very light creasing or 'bumping'. Two stamps on back cover. These flaws are not very significant to the overall excellent condition of this thick and sturdy American-style vintage jacket!) * * * LOW STARTING BID! GREAT COPY! NO RESERVE! IN THE CASE OF A SEALED RECORD, WE ASSUME THAT THE VINYL IS MINT.  HOWEVER, NOT EVERY SEALED RECORD IS PERFECT.  SOME HAVE FACTORY DEFECTS, SOME ARE WARPED, ETC.  IF YOU WIN A SEALED RECORD AND ARE WORRIED ABOUT SUCH POSSIBILITIES, WE WILL, AT YOUR REQUEST, OPEN IT PREVIOUS TO SENDING IT TO INSPECT THE DISC.
