Description
Blue not BLP 4222 Lee Morgan - Cornbread 1st mono pressing. One of a kind record here with a a fan made hand painted cover replacing the assumed long lost original cover. The record itself is a original mono pressing with NY,NY labels and the VAN GELDER stamp in dead wax. The record has a fair amount of scuffing that causes a BG noise throughout - BG noise varies throughout record but it never skipped or jumped the needle (and I don’t think any of the marks are too much of a worry for that).
Certainly plays back well enough to make a great play copy for most collectors and it features this amazing folk art cover !
