Description
Up for auction is a very nice copy of the Lee Morgan album "Cornbread" released on Blue Note Records (#4222) in 1965. This is a Mono pressing with "Vangelder" stamped in the run-out on both sides. W. 61st St. on cover. New York USA labels. Comes with original Blue Note inner sleeve, which is in great shape. Cover is in very nice condition with no tears, chips, stains, writing, or cracks. Faint ring wear on front, mostly at top and bottom, typical of this album, which was not issued with a laminate cover, only in matte, which made it prone to rubbing loss. Back cover is bone white, no ring wear, and no yellowing or obvious signs of age. Corners and seams are tight and intact. The vinyl is equally nice with much of its original sheen present. No scratches or noticeable scuffs. Labels are bright, clean, with no marks around spindle hole on either side. Overall, a very well-preserved copy of this desirable Blue Note title.
