I have set a high start price for this record,as I had to Pay £100+ swap for a rare 2nd pressing too or the lady would not have sold it.I wanted to hang onto this record as it is very rare to find one,but due to having to buy a motorbike from Ebay which I impulsively bid on(item no.280128498024)whilst drunk,I need to sell this in order to pay my insurance.Priced at £500 in the Record Collector Guide,I think £150 is still a fair start price,if it goes for that,I'll only break even when consideing the mint 2nd press,£100 and Ebay fees.If it does not sell,I won't re-list or sell privately,I can't see it go for less.

Description Of Item For Sale: The Very 1st Album,and the very 1st pressing.

Side 1 Matrix:588171  A//1.

Side 2 Matrix:588171 B//1.

This record comes with Red/Maroon labels,and the rare and sought after Turquoise Sleeve Lettering.My photography is not perfect,so labels look a little unusual,I included a different camera set-up of a label to illustrate that my camera does lie,sorry,but it is new,and I am struggling to get it working correctly.

Side 1 tracks 1.2.4 are credited to Superhype Music,track 3:Jewel Music.

Side 2 tracks 1.2.3.5 are credited to Superhype Music,track 4;Jewel Music.

Condition:

Sleeve- Excellent,Laminated both sides,no rips splits stains or scribbles.Spine is strong,and writing is clear.There is slight wear on the corners,nothing serious,and also it is 38 years old,so although it is old,it is still pretty good,very hard to find,and this one is in pretty goo order I think.That's why I payed good money for it.

Vinyl- Excellent.I have played it to check sound quality.Side 1 is pretty much perfect,no clicks,Hiss Crackle Pops Skips.....I could go on,but here are no problems.Side 2,1st Song(Your Time is gonna come)plays with some crackle,which fades after this track.It is not horrendous,but also it is a shame to have it.I had got a minute amount of cleaning fluid,so I simply used all I had left and put it on the Vinyl of track 1,it improved things,but never cured it.There are some finger prints on the Vinyl,and I think a good clean will certainly improve looks and sound quality,but I don't think it would eliminate the crackles on this 1st track of side 2.

There are no Deep scratches,some light cleanable stains or finger prints,not serious and cleanable,but I am not as good at cleaning s some people who have machines that do the job,so I have not attempted.There are some light paper marks,and the odd more significant light wipe mark.In all I have been honest about the condition,don't expect it to be much better than I describe,but it is certainly not any worse.A 1969 Vinyl record,it is a nice find.

Labels- Excellent.Has light spindle marks,but also(and would lower this to only Very Good Grading)the letters NE and NES written on the white band of side 1 in red biro,and NES written twice in the white part of side 2 labels.

Innersleeve-Very Good,Plain White.2 creased corners,3rd corner shows light creases.Polylined,not split and not too yellowed.Has LED ZEPPELIN 1 NES 14 written in black Felt-tip pen.U.K.Patent No.1,072,844,& Foreign Patents Pending.

Extra Items,e.g.Poster,Insert-NONE.

Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.

Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.Cover/Packaging might have slight wear/creasing.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
