LED ZEPPELIN lll
1970 UK PLUM/RED ATLANTIC 2401-002 (A5 & B5)
This is superb original earliest A5-B5 UK PLUM/RED issue in immaculate playing condition, The thick chunky vinyl is in amazingly clean and glossy NEAR MINT condition and the fully laminated E.J.Day gatefold sleeve is also in amazing NEAR MINT condition. The labels are the earliest possible with a different text layout to later Plum/Red issues. This brilliant original UK Led Zeppelin album has been barely played at all in 37 years and it really would be near impossible to find another original UK copy that plays and sounds as good as this one on offer here. It really is that good.

Both sides of the thick chunky vinyl look amazingly clean and glossy and free of any surface marks at all apart from just one or two very faint wispy lines that are so light and hard to see that they obviously have no effect on play at all, at first glance the vinyl really does look brand new, both sides look/play and sound absolutely superb from beginning to end, the album plays free of annoying surface noise and and the sound quality is brilliantly crisp and clear, this is just an amazingly clean earliest UK copy that has been barely played at all and will not disappoint in any way.
Both earliest possible PLUM/RED Atlantic labels look as new with no defects at all.
The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is the far more desirable earliest UK E.Jay.Day issue and it is also in brilliant near new condition, most of these original thickly laminated Led Zep 3 gatefolds suffer from unsightly age yellowing around the edges and nasty looking lamination lines but this cover is just about perfect and does actually look as close to new as you will find, the very colourful rotating wheel is still very firmly fixed and works perfect, the original poly-lined inner sleeve is in very clean defect free condition with just a few minor age spots.
It really would be very difficult to find a better looking playing and sounding original UK copy that this one on offer here and the winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed with this copy of Led Zeppelin's essential third album.
