Description
Stunning Original 1975 UK TRUE EARLIEST 1st Pressing 'Physical Graffiti' by Led Zeppelin with NO WARNER CREDITS On the Centre Labels, 1st Press Matrix & Chunky 1st Press 'Gothic Print Finishers' Die-Cut Sleeve Complete with Intact Un-torn Windows and All Inserts!!! Stunning Condition Throughout. Impossible to Find a UK 1st Press In This Condition Anymore!!!!
You are bidding on a beautiful ORIGINAL 1975 UK 1st Pressing of this all time classic LP by Led Zeppelin!!! It is the Original 1975 UK 1st PRESSING on the Swansong Label with NO Warner credits on the centre labels. 1st press matrix and Original Gothic Print Finisher Sleeve!!! What's more it is fully complete with all inserts and in superb condition throughout!!! This is a Mega Rare UK 1st Press, this is NOT a reissue!!! Sellers claiming UK 1st pressings with Warner credits on the centre labels are selling reissues!!!! The real thing is much, much harder to come across, especially in this kind of condition!!! The cool 1970's discs are in visually and aurally stunning condition and shine with that 'just pressed' look and feel!!! From the condition of the centre labels (virtually no spindle wear) and the shine and lustre of the 2 vinyl records, these records look as if they have only been played once or twice at best!!! You will be very hard pushed to find another UK press copy of this legendary LP in such amazing condition!!! Although the whole 1st press design package to this LP is stunning, with the die-cut windows of the outer sleeve being filled with the picture inner sleeves, the original heavy card inner sleeves were traditionally not kind to the 1st press discs, a bit like 1st press copies of Pink Floyd's The Wall. This usually resulted in seriously scuffed discs, especially on records played more that a handful of times. However, this one has survived so well due the the 1st press inners being inlaid with softer kinder paper inners, therefore massively reducing the amount of scuffing to the records. To protect these beautiful discs and the original die-cut inner sleeves, these vinyls will remain housed in their replacement inner sleeves during shipping, with the original inners being safely tucked away inside the outer sleeve. This will prevent any undue stress to the discs (marking) and the inner sleeves (knifing) during transit.
Please check our other auctions as we have some more incredibly rare UK 1st pressings and rarities currently listed and ending soon!!!

The Classic swansong Centre Labels are ALL in stunning MINT- condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind, they have virtually NO spindle lines!!! The gramophone rims are also mint!!! The cool 1970's discs are both in beautiful condition!!! Copies of this LP only turn up today completely worn out with lots of scratches and gouges - this one is not!!! These 2 discs have NO SCRATCHES, NO Groove Wear and NO warping!!! They have a beautiful shine and that 'just pressed' look and feel (they are very heavy discs!). There is just some very, very light almost invisible superficial waxy surface scuffing that can only be seen when holding the records angled directly up to a window. I have never come across a 1st press of this record with less scuffing, again as mentioned above, this is probably due to the thoughtful inlay of softer, kinder inner sleeves into the original hard-card inner picture sleeves a long time ago. I'm also pleased to report that this record plays superbly with no nasty loud pops, no jumps and no skips, just the very occasional low level hiss/crackle. These thick quality pressed chunky 1970's discs look and feel great!!! I would have to grade these 2 records as a Excellent at the very least!!! And this is now way over-graded!!!
The classic 1st press Gothic Print Finishers die-cut sleeve is also in beautiful condition with NO Tears, NO Scribbles NO Stains and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! It is completely blemish free!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR and a good strong spine!!! It has a beautiful satin finish and a MINT strong spine with MINT legible spine text. The back cover has the Kings Road, London address of SWAN SONG printed below the logo - THIS ONLY APPEARS ON THE 1st PRESS. The Die-cut windows are all flawless and there is no very little visible wear to any of the 3 edges!!! The corners have some limited wear as does the opening edge. A beautiful cover which easily grades as a very strong Excellent, if not better!!! All inserts are in Nr Mint condition!!! Although stunning when in this kind of condition, this famous sleeve was prone to serious wear with massive edge and corner wear, not to mention the tears to the die cut windows. When you add this to heavy card inners and the fact that this album (due to the classic tracks) got played and played, it is no wonder that so few 1st pressings remain in this condition. Do not underestimate the rarity of this LP, it is the only copy I have in this condition and as usual it will go to the highest bidder, with no reserve and a low start, so once its gone its gone. Please do not email asking for identical copies, cos there ain't any!!!
This is seen by many as one of the best rock albums ever made (just a quick scan of the track listing will confirm this; Kashmir, Trampled Under Foot, Houses of the Holy, Bron-Yr-Aur, to name but a few) - and as such, true UK 1st Press copies are in very high demand today. If you have never heard it, and you will not find another copy that plays more pristinely than this- it will blow you away!!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential (and very rare) record to own in this complete and beautiful condition!!! Don't miss this one!!! As mentioned above, to protect these beautiful discs and the original die-cut inner sleeves, these vinyls will be housed in replacement inner sleeves during shipping, with the original inners being safely tucked away inside the outer sleeve. This will prevent any undue stress to the discs (marking) and the inner sleeves (knifing) during transit.

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.
We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
