LED ZEPPELIN III A6 / B3 Atlantic K 50002 UK 1970 Green / Orange Label
Signed By John Bonham!
On offer here is a genuine John Bonham autograph, signed on the back cover of Led Zeppelin III. This particular one is on the green/orange label rather than the red/plum one.
I purchased this recently from the owner of a record store who was more than happy to provide an A4 letter of provenance as to how the signature was obtained. His name plus his record store is printed as a footnote which I can provide if emailed.
The signature has been written with a black biro and stands proud with only a little fading on the name, very minimal though. This is obviously a rare piece of rock history hence the realistic starting price.
The actual cover is in lovely condition with a fully working wheel. It is exceptionally clean with only a couple of very minor marks and the laminate remains in great order with no creasing or splits. The edges have hardly any shelf wear and the wide spine is also in superb condition.
For the record (no pun intended!) the vinyl plays with Ex+ audio for the vast majority and indeed many sections play better than that. I heard a little static and one click but aside from that it plays extremely well. However, that is incidental as the real value of course lies in the very rare and highly prized 'John Bonham' signature.

This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S cleaning machine
