LED ZEPPELIN - III (1970/ UK ATLANTIC - RED & PLUM - LP): Catalogue number 2401 002. This is your chance to bid on this awesome third album by the rock legends Led Zeppelin. This is the original first UK issue on the Red & Plum Atlantic label & has the infamous “Do What Thou Wilt” wording cut into the run out groove of side one. The record is housed in the iconic gatefold sleeve with the rotating wheel. The side Two run out carries the words “So mote it be”. The record features the following tracks: Side One: 1. Immigrant Song 2. Friends 3. Celebration Day 4. Since I’ve Been Loving You 5. Out On The Tiles Side Two: 1. Gallows Pole 2. Tangerine 3. That’s The Way 4. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 5. Hats Off To (Roy) Harper VINYL: The vinyl is in excellent condition for it’s age. It is still bright & shiny. There are some surface marks which cause the occasional pop & crackle but this is to be expected of a record that is almost 40 years old. The most noticeable “click” can be heard in the first part of “Friends” but this disappears after 90 seconds. The album sounds great on this early vinyl pressing. LABELS: The labels are in great condition. There are a few age spots which are visible at certain angles. The labels state “Made in Gt Britain”. SLEEVE: The sleeve is in excellent condition. There is some minor creasing. On the front of the sleeve, the laminate has some rippling (see photos below) which appears to have been caused at the printing stage. This does not detract too much from the item. The rotating wheel is fully functional. Photos show the actual item:
