Hello, up for auction is an original press of Led Zeppelin II on Atlantic Records SD8236, which also happens to be the coveted Robert "Bob" Ludwig master, noted by the "RL" in the matrix of both sides the LP and issued from the offices at 1841 Broadway in NYC.
As for condition, please study the photos carefully as I have tried my best to represent true condition, but I'd have to rate the sleeve a VG and the record as VG++. There is some wear on the sleeve, with 2 spots on the backside of shown in pics as the most noticeable... The vinyl itself shows very slight surface wear, but being in quite good condition for an almost 50+ year old record. With a proper machine/manual cleaning, it will only improve in condition!! It's a hard VG++ with room to improve, so to speak. There are only a couple of "considerable" surface marks, but appear to be mostly in the dead wax area, with no major scratches in the grooves, themselves. I would consider this a chance to own a Ludwig mastered Zep II without the price that comes with those copies in NM/M and even more pristine condition...
