Hello, up for auction is an original press of Led Zeppelin II on Atlantic Records SD8236, which also happens to be the coveted Robert "Bob" Ludwig master, noted by the "RL" in the matrix of both sides the LP and issued from the offices at 1841 Broadway in NYC.
As for condition, please study the photos carefully as I have tried my best to represent true condition, but I'd have to rate both the sleeve and record as G+/G+. There is considerable wear on the upper spine of the sleeve, with a 3" split across the bottom and... particularly... There is also the name "Mary Gallagher" written across the center label on both sides of the LP and "Mary" on the cover of the sleeve. The vinyl itself shows considerable surface wear with the usual scuffs and scratches for a 50+ year old record, that was played and not collected. There are only a couple of considerable scratches , but after spinning the record once it didn't cause a skip on my player, just noise, pop etc...as you'd expect. I know players and sensitivity do vary, so keep this in mind. I would consider this a chance to own a Ludwig mastered Zep II without the price that comes with those copies in VG++ and even more pristine condition...
