Description
One of the most sought-after rock records, a 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin II mastered by Robert Ludwig (both sides with RL in the deadwax, side 2 with the desired small/thin runoff). Supposedly, this was mastered so hot that the turntables of the day could not track the grooves, so a repressing was ordered with a different master. Details:
- TN seemed to have been concerned about people stealing his LPs, so he wrote his initials on the back cover and side 1 label.
- The label is torn around the edges of side 1
- The cover is worn, but the gatefold is in nice shape
- Original inner included, but shipped in an MFSL sleeve
- LP has scratches and scuffs
- Overall cover grade: VG
- Overall LP grade: VG-
