Up for Auction: Rare MFSL copy of Led Zeppelin II !!!

Low starting bid and NO reserve!!!!!

This is one of the most collectible and hard to find titles in the MFSL catalog. This copy is in fantastic condition. (Please see photos)

Vinyl is NM- Glossy and clean with no visible marks. Labels are clean and white. I have play graded this on my Rega P25 turntable with Dynavector cartridge. It sounds fantastic! Only the slightest bit of surface noise is audible in the runoffs. Sound is clean and solid, typical of MFSL pressings.

Sleeve is NM- clean and glossy and color is vibrant. There is a slight bit of edge wear and some blunting of the corners. Spine is tight. Inner cardboard sleeve NM- as well. Comes in the original MFSL polybag

This item is from my personal collection and I purchased it new around 32 years ago. It has been extremely well cared for and is looking for a new home.

I have compared the sound of this recording to an original UK red and plum label 1st press, a US Robert Ludwig 1st press and a Classic 180 gram reissue. While the MFSL version is not as punchy as the first two versions, it is extremely well balanced with crystal clarity similar to the Classic.

So, as I have several pressings of this LP I would like this copy to go to a new home of a deserving audiophile. This is as good as this can get without buying a sealed copy, which can run into $$$. If you are looking for this title at a reasonable price, then this is for you!
