VINYL
Side 1: visually VG with numerous small scuffs, lines and blemishes some of which are audible. Specifically, cut 1 (and similar loud sections) play fine, cut 2 starts and ends with light surface static typical of the quiet sections, of which there are few. The gap after this cut going into cut 3 plays fine as does cut 3. The last cut has some minor surface noise and ticks. This side plays through with no skips or repeaters, and the last cut, which is often affected by wear, plays fine with no audible wear despite some light static near the opening. The grooves do not have that “milky” look from being played on inferior equipment. It retains some of its original gloss.Side 2: visually VG similar to side 1. Cut 1 opens with some surface noise and generally the quieter sections may have some background static, although the quiet parts of cut 2 sound fine. The last cut plays without wear (same as side 1) and has some ticks. This side also plays through with no skips or repeaters.

DESCRIPTION: This extremely rare label in purple and brown is, according to my reference books, a first edition and possible label error. I noticed a definite difference in the length of the gaps in at least 2 places on side 2. On standard copies, there’s a shorter gap before “Communication Breakdown” comes in, and a much shorter gap before “I Can’t Quit You Baby”. There may be other mix variations on this LP. I've been told by a drummer that the drum tracks on side one are slightly different.

Records are shipped in the highest quality mailers. For LPs, the record is secured outside the cover to avoid seam splits. Returns must be shipped in the same way. Damage to the cover or disc will void returns.
LPs and 45s are first inspected under halogen light and any blemishes are examined with a 10x power magnifier which allows the grooves to be fully inspected. LPs are play graded on a Linn Sondek LP12.
