Description
Unsealed but Mint, never-listened to records. The box is in VG condition, with two slight tears of the outermost material. This is 4 LPs of Led Zeppelin's experiences on the BBC radio network. The first two LPs document their experiences in 1969 using the BBC radio as a vehicle to publicize their music and show the world who they are, as they refused to release singles. These performances capture Led Zeppelin at a time when the band was forming their identity and becoming more comfortable with one another with each passing night. This is literally documented, as on these two LPs you will hear the same song twice and yet the only similarity will be in the title. This is a band whose music was alive and morphed as the band morphed, and here in these records lies the proof. The second two LPs document a full (the first of its kind on the BBC) hour-plus long concert that they put on for the BBC in 1971. It is Led Zeppelin at their most powerful. Before the more lighthearted 1972 tours, and after the creation of their ultimate Fourth Album, this concert catches Led Zeppelin at a time when these four men were mightily ferocious and telepathically in tune with one another. Included is a two-song acoustic set. These records are 200G and employ technologies to ensure that there is little noise other than the music coming through your speakers.
