LED ZEPPELIN

Led Zeppelin (Atlantic 588171)

 

Here’s a decent first pressing of Led Zeppelin’s classic debut, released in the UK in March 1969 but quickly withdrawn at Peter Grant’s insistence.  

 

The fully laminated cover is in solid VG+ condition, with light overall wear, no stickers, splits, writing or tears and a fully legible spine.

 

The disc is VG, with hairlines and minor marks. It plays fine, with light surface noise. 

 

The labels have the all-important ‘Superhype’ credits. Side one has the word ‘Tony’ written on it (see picture).

 

Overall, a solid copy of this long-established rarity.
