‘LED ZEPPELIN’
A VERY RARE LP ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN EARLY 1ST PRESSING IN TURQUOISE
‘LED ZEPPELIN’ BY THE GROUP OF THE SAME NAME. This first Album and Sleeve is very hard to find in any condition. This very rare 1969 FIRST UK LP PRESS with LED ZEPPELIN in TURQUOISE lettering on the front sleeve is on the red/maroon Atlantic label 588 171 with "Super hype" credit on the label and with 588171 A//1 and 588171 B//2 as the matrix markings. It is known as the holy grail for LED ZEPPELIN and record collectors alike
I have tried to grade this record as fairly as possible grading as follows.
RECORD: The vinyl still retains a fairly nice sheen, but there are light surface marks, the record plays through with no skips or major pops and has minimal surface sound, I tried it out on a late 60s model record player and it plays through without any hassles, it's a copy that has been used and not left in a cupboard, labels are in good nick with no stickers or writing on them. I will grade as VG--
INNER SLEEVE: Original inner sleeve in almost perfect condition with only one small split on the side and no creases. Graded as EX-
COVER: The sleeve is in very good condition with no splits, tears or writing. It is the original rare and limited sleeve with Led Zeppelin and the Atlantic logo in turquoise, fully laminated. It is still shiny and clear with some expected creasing of the laminate. (see photos). Graded as VG/VG+
