Description
- This copy is the rarest of all the second album issues
It features
- The famous early Orange/Plum Atlantic label
- On Side one there is the The Lemon Song misprint
- On Side two there is the Livin Lovin Wreck misprint
- Matrix Side one is 588198 A2
- Matrix Side Two is 588198 B2
Issued on Atlantic/Polydor this was given the Cat No 588198 and came out in 1969. The vinyl here is near to mint and sounds amazing with the warmth and depth only vinyl can give.
The inner sleeve is clean bright and has no marks or penmanship on it.
The outer sleeve is as you know notorious for wear. It is not laminated and it features the green spine, which was not printed but faded from the original brown. If I am going to be severely critical this copy has one or two 'half moons' (but very small), the edges have faint rubs in the brown ink and on the back you can just discern two ring marks, top and bottom. There are no tears, splits, scribbles. Overall I would grade the cover excellent but with a copy as rare as this I have tried to be critical.
