Description
Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.
I will NOT post this item without insurance and recorded in some way (UK or REST OF WORLD).
SO HERE WE GO....... ONE OF THE RAREST LED ZEPPELIN PRESSINGS OF ALL TIME...... SO MUCH RARER THAN THE TURQUOISE 1st ALBUM??
For sale here is --LED ZEPPELIN--LED ZEPPELIN 11-- UK ORIGINAL FIRST PLUM AND RED PRESSING "LIVIN' LOVIN' WRECK"
ATLANTIC 588198 RELEASED 1969
MATRIX NUMBERS..... A2 B2 Please see the close-up pictures for full matrix details.
SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This is the VERY FIRST printing of this sleeve and is easy to spot because of the very light brown colour and the all important light blue spine colour that also appears on the edges. It is in SUPER condition with light to moderate wear. It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant without fadeing. The front bottom edge is EX with light shelf wear, the rear bottom edge has a 2.5 inch split. Both of the top edges are in EX condition with no splits. The front is very tidy with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS AND NO STAINING, ther is very light surface rub and some minor creases. The rear is in the same EX condition. The opening edges are in lovely EX+ condition. The spine shows signs of age with some surface rubto the right hand edge, but there is no splits and all of the information is ledgable. The tips of the corners have wear and 'dinks'. All in all this is in brilliant condition for a sleeve of this age. EX-
LABELS..... Very nice condition undamaged labels. No writing or stickers or tears and only minor spindle marks and almost NO spindle wear. Of course the side.2 label lists track.2 as 'LIVIN' LOVIN' WRECK instead of livin' lovin' MAID.
VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see a few very faint surface hair lines which are very light and caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve. In normal daylight this album looks PRISTINE. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean could sort out most of that. This really is a great copy, not mint but any collector would be delighted to add to their collection. EX- / EX-. SUPERB AUDIO QUALITY.
THERE CAN'T BE VERY MANY COPIES OF THIS ALBUM IN EXISTANCE WITH THIS LABEL VARIATION.
DON'T MISS IT!
