Description
This is a superb group of four original Italian release Le Orme LPs offered in one auction. They are as follows: Uomo di pezza (1972), Philips # 6323 013 L, vinyl showing acceptable signs of wear needing a proper cleaning and the gatefold cover is very good with no edge or spine splits: Contrappunti (1974), Philips # 6323 035 A, vinyl showing two tiny minors and needing a proper cleaning; the cover shows acceptable edge stains, signs of handling but the edges and spine are tight and the spine print is totally legible and the printed inside paper sleeve is without flaw aside from a 3 3/4" bottom split: Verita nascoste (1976), Philips # 6323 045, vinyl mint/ mint-and center labels perfect with no spindle marks needing only a proper cleaning; the gatefold cover is excellent with no splits and the the spine print is perfectably legible: Storia O Leggenda (1977), Philips 6323 052, vinyl showing no flaws, simply needing a proper cleaning and center labels are mint with no spindle marks. The paper inside lyric sleeve has no splits. The vinyl is mint to mint- showing very careful handling and each of the LPs need only a proper cleaning, mainly to remove the minimal static attracted dust. As I don't have a table hooked up I try to very conservatively visually grade the LPs. It's a fine group of scarce LPs offered in a five day no reserve auction at a fair enough opening bid.
