Description
Lars Werner och hans vänner (and his friends) till Raymond Chandler och Claes-Göran Fagerstedt
Star lineup. Alto Saxophone – Christer Boustedt Contrabass – Sven Hessle Drums, Percussion – Jan Carlsson Piano – Lars Werner Tenor Saxophone – Dave Liebman, Göran Östling Trumpet – Otto Donner
Recorded in Stockholm 1967 and released as the second release on Otto Donners own label Love, then very, very small. Never re-released on LP. And as you could expect, a Swedish band, released in Finland, it did not sell many copies. Don't miss out.
One of the best Finnish/Swedish jazz albums, and mega rare. Only 3 sold on eBay in recorded time, last one 2014.
Also included are a copy of a letter from Lars Werner telling about the album, the band and his life at the moment. If you ask me, I can provide a rough translation if you win it.
Love Records LRLP 2 Finland 1967 First and only release. Very, very rare.
Condition: Vinyl: a very nice VG+. Some inner sleeve shade on side 1 giving a very low level crackle in quiter parts on side. No big deal. Very enjoyable listen. Cover: VG+. Please look at the pictures and use the zoom function. With grading being a subjective matter pictures are an objective way to evaluate for yourself.
I only use the grades NM/EX/VG+/VG/VG- etc. I only grade sealed records Mint.
All records visually graded. When in doubt, Play-graded on on a modified/restored PTP Lenco L75 with Ortofon RM-309 and a AnaMighty Sound-modified Ortofon SPU with boron cantilever and Micro Ridge tip. Sound of mono vinyl may improve when played with a proper mono cartridge, I recommend Ortofon A or C.
Dont hesitate to ask any questions. My priority is satisfied customers. Bid with complete confidence - no quibble money-back guarantee if youre not happy with the item.
Shipping
For any items, small or big, I will spend all the time needed to insure adequate packaging. I try to be environmentally friendly and re use as much packaging as possible.
Shipping is not 4 dollars to USA but 22. Please wait for invoice until payment.
Packages will be sent registered.
All records are packaged outside their sleeve in a protective plastic. The same goes for printed inner sleeves. I use very heavy boxes with dimensions to protect corners. I want you to recieve records as I want them to be sent to me.
I ship regular, registred mail, at cost. Postage is unfortunately expensive. Express, UPS and DHL are available with special agreement - please contact me.
Please understand that I cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by shipping companies, or any other issues once a record leaves me. If you want special instructions as for insurance value, customs declaration etc, I will do my best to service.
Also understand that I cannot be held responsible for any additional cost (customs, duty, VAT...) caused by your country's regulation.
However, I will make the best effort to make your transaction easy and positive.
If you have any issues upon receiving the vinyl please get in contact with me first before leaving negative feedback and we will take care of them for you.
About me
Im a long time collector always evolving and keeping my collection relevant to my tastes. I am also picking up records I believe someone else may appreciate. When you buy from me, you are buying from someone who care about the music as much as you do.
I have an extensive collection, and are allways looking for a few special items. I am more than interested in trading. So if you have spare jazz, especially Spiritual, European to the freer side and elusive Blue Notes/New Jazz etc, please let me know. I am also interested in some soul and some Psychedelics and Kraut.
