Description
Wow! A rare chance to acquire a full set of Beatles dolls made by Applause, San Francisco in 1987 and rarely available for sale in the UK. The dolls were licensed by APPLE and were only available for a very limited time in the late 1980's.
They are all in excellent condition but I will list specific points about each doll, firstly John. John is in excellent condition, his Rickenbacker is attached to his back and he is very clean (a little Hard Day's Night joke their folks!). His face and hands are bright and clean. There is a mark on the guitar that looks like a fingerprint or where a label has been removed. He does not have any tags.
Paul is also in excellent condition. His face and hands are bright and clean and his suit is dark. His Hofner Bass is loose but can easily be stiched back on. One tuning peg is missing from Paul's Hofner. Paul does not have any tags.
George is in very good condition. His hands and face are bright and clean but his suit has partially faded, this could possibly be remedied by redyeing? George has his Gretsch guitar which is loose but can easily be reattached. As with Paul's guitar, one of the tuning pegs is missing. George also does not have any tags.
Ringo is in excellent condition. His hands and face are also bright and clean but under his chin you can see some dark cotton beneath ths face material. However this does not detract from his appearance. He is clutching a pair of drumsticks and unlike the others, he has one 'Applause' tag on his right arm
Also included are a set of FOUR official stands with the Beatles Forever logo on them, only one is in the photograph but FOUR are included.
