LARRY NORMAN - STREET LEVEL - TEST PRESSING
A rare test pressing of an iconic self-made Christian indie record from 45 years ago. It doesn’t get any more underground than this. If it did, it would probably be covered with magma and molten rock and stuff, and it would be hard to send it to you because I’m pretty sure the post office frowns on sending lava through the mail. I’ll have to check the regulations.
It’s pretty awesome stumbling across items like this. My brother was just cool. He did a lot of amazing stuff back then. I’m lucky. I could have been born in another family and been brother of someone else, like B.J. Thomas, or Carman. That would have been nowhere near as cool. Although I might have not gotten sunburns so easily. There’s always a trade-off.
Back to the record:
1. t’s a 12” LP.
2. It has a hole in the middle of it.
3. You need to have a record player to listen to it.
4. Don’t play it super loud at night because your neighbors might get cranky.
5. It’s a piece of 20th Century Christian Music history.
6. Aren’t you glad you were born in the 20th Century instead of the 21st? Otherwise you would still be a teenager. Probably with acne. That’s just not appealing at all.
