Ketwaru Amazing Dutch 75 Sitar Psych folk baroque LP RA

The best ever Dutch sitar psych LP! I know the story here too. About 7 years ago I found my own copy at a flea market and was immediately blown away by the sounds. Since then I never saw a trace of this until I found this one last week. The first ever spare. Turns out it was a Omega press of only 500 copies back in 1975. Totally fantastic sitar psych LP in NM!!! Ketwaru came from Surinam, a then Dutch colony in Latin America. Mister Ketwaru was a music teacher and great sitar player who had strong believes music could bring people of different ethnic backgrounds together so he made this LP. Its filled with influences of all populations living in Surinam. It has sitar psych and raga's, Indonesian gamelan kinda music, Dutch folk psych with amazing folky violin reminding a lot of the first Camper van Beethoven recordings, creool music and tunes and Chinese folk but all mixed together. Nothing sounds like this LP. 'Faja Song No Brong Mi So' is an ancient creool melody played by sitar, violin and tablas. Its fantastic folkpsych. Sounding like a child's song turned into a raga. 'Na sofo mofo mang' is also a Creool folktune played in Indian ragastyle. So no drones but real melody's here. A bit more laidback than the other one. Again great violin folky leads too. They also use bambooflutes! In the end is a cheerful melody! 'Indian improvisation''. Sitar rendition of ancient Indonesian Arowak theme. Sounding after the sitar intro almost like celtic folkmusic with tabla, bambooflutes, cool violin and a fantastic atmosphere. 'Scheresliep'  probably is the insanest tune here as its a very well known Dutch folk tune but here played with sitar and tabla sounding really like something from another world. Fantastic and super psychedelic. 'Chinese improvisation' sounds like an instrumental from the first Camper van Beethoven LP played with tabla, mandolin and a cool folkpsych violin. Totally awesome and fave melody too. 'Malkauns' is an ancient penthatonic Indian raga but also again with folky baroque psych violin. Incredible!  'Javan Improvistation' uses psychy folky violin, gamelan and bambooflutes. Awesome stuff. This 1975 Dutch Omega LP easily beats almost every sitar folk psych LP I know off and was a 500 copies press. And sitar folk psych is one of my obsessions so I'm real honest here! The fact that it came from a Dutch colony prevented people from discovering this but for me this kinda stuff is a true hobby. Just finding the good ones. This is one of the best on a worldwide scale! I also met Mister Ketwaru cause I wanted to rerelease it but it turned out a little too expensive to realise. So get the real one. Damn.... I could write a book bout this record! I know people who are dying to get this if they'd know the sounds! NM! Cheques/ IMO, add 7$ clearance. I accept paypal. We pack once a week.
