Description
KNOCKER JUNGLE Lp SleeveVG/EXvinyl (RC.grading system) The original 1st pressing from 1970. Gatefold sleeve shows a moderate amount of wear,with only slight fading and ringwear.There is a small sticker tear in the top corner,but there is no other damage to the sleeve.This album was removed from the shelves soon after issue due to the offensive nature of the two finger gesture,(oh dear!). The heavy vinyl has only a few hairlines which do not affect the sound quality apart from the occasional click.The textured labels are both clean. Matrix numbers 5052 + A 5052 + B Ember Records sold hardly any copies in 1970 so this was deleted shortly after issue and the remaining albums withdrawn.A single was also issued at the time,which contained two album tracks : I dont know why/Reality,this of course is now extremely rare.Knocker Jungle were essentially an acoustic duo of singer-songwriters Keith Jones and Tony Coop.The sound was augmented on the album by Fairport Convention members and yet the music is unique and nothing-like folk rock.
