Nice copy of this rare record. I am grading at Excellent. Read description for more complete info. Shipping is $5.00 to US only. ( includes shipping and mailer)


This submission is for the 1977 RCA record club edition which features the 'blue tear' ink spot on front cover mis-print. It can be found near the Starchild's left eye. (see picture)

Misprint is exclusive to this specific pressing.

I e-mailed Michael Doret a few pictures of the album in 2010 to ask him if there was any story/significance behind it-his reply is below-I posted a portion of this before on the FAQ a few years ago, but couldn't find the link-so I just pasted it in:


"First of all I can tell you that what you have in that photo is an inferior printing of the cover because there should be an impression of silver ink in certain areas, and I can see that one of those areas that appears in your photo (Paul's eyelid) is printed in black halftone instead. So the first clue is that the printing was clearly done on the cheap.

Comes with original sleeve that is open on 2 sides. The vinyl is absolutely beautiful!! No visible scratches or scuffs... very clean. The labels on the vinyl are mint! They make the vinyl appear basically Unplayed. No tears, pulls, writing, etc...... The jacket has minimal edge wear, but no ring wear. There are some creases. The spine looks very clean but does have a spot wear the red is missing. ( I’ll put it in the pictures) Please look at the pictures for the best idea of condition. If you need any more detailed pictures, please ask.
