Description
This is a very unique and rarely seen promotional release from Guatemala.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, DIDECA, Guatemala’s leading record manufacturer, produced this promotional-only LP simply titled “Rock.” The runout groove is hand-signed by “Jaime,” the mastering engineer responsible for mastering many Guatemalan pressings of artists such as Iron Maiden, Kiss, and Black Sabbath during that era.
This compilation includes the following tracks:
- Kiss – Tears Are Falling (“Lágrimas Caen”)
- Kiss – Who Wants to Be Lonely (“Quiero Estar Solo”)
- AC/DC – Danger
- AC/DC – Sink the Pink
- Black Sabbath – Danger Zone
- Black Sabbath – No Stranger to Love
This is the first time I have listed this record on eBay. It is an extremely scarce Guatemalan promotional pressing that would make an outstanding addition to any serious Kiss, AC/DC, or Black Sabbath collection.
