Description
The Baker Quartet with Chet, trumpet; Russ Freeman, piano; Carson Smith, bass; Larry Bunker, drums. Design of the cover and photos by William Claxton. 8 tracks. Cover: VG++ to Mint(-) Intact with a small amount of edge and corner wear. Minor rub marks from ordinary handling. Fine condition. Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 3 small light surface rub marks. A few discoloration marks in the vinyl which do not effect the sound. There are a few short ,crackles at the beginning few revolutions on Track, 1 Side 1 and an occasional, infrequent, click elsewhere on the record. A few clicks repeat on Track 3, Side 1 ("The Thrill Is Gone"} which are more audible. All of the described noise is light. In general the quality is fine as well as the sound. I have indicated the VG+ as prt of the rating to account for the noise described, however, most of the record is closer to Mint(-). Audibly checked.
