"Drivin'" was one of the Kinks least successful 45s during the 60s and here you have it on its MEGA RARE uniquely picture sleeved Denmark release. The "sleeve" consists of one piece of 7" x 7" paper with printing on both sides (don't miss the tiny "Bowek Reklametryk AS" in the lower right corner on the back, see picture). I know that "Drivin'" is the actual a-side, but I've put the Dave Davies sung "Mindless Child Of Motherhood" first in the soundclip because it is one of the most FANTASTIC tunes in the entire Kinks catalogue. This tune is a pure powerpop nugget which far too few people know about. Jangling guitars, superb vocals, punchy arrangement - it comes off sounding a bit like The Raspberries actually, but this was cut in 1969! Have a listen below.
